The Win Win Game (Walk-ON) process mat is screen printed on 24 x 70 vinyl. This version was designed for children 3-7 years old in a home setting or pre-school, kindergarten, first grade and second grade in a school setting. In this version children stand side by side and step on the faces as they work toward a solution to their problem. The walk-on process is designed to give you the option of cutting it in half (the long way) and putting it end to end. With this option the children start by facing each other about ten feet apart and step closer and closer as they work through the process. When they make their agreement they are face to face and can shake hands. This version is designed for use by Home Schoolers, Faith-Based Schools, Homes, Churches / Sunday Schools, Vacation Bible Schools, Faith-Based Camps and Faith- Based Organizations. There are some in the secular society who are working very hard to
erase the name of Jesus and all Christian symbols from the world.
When they tell you that they have “values” ask them to
explain what their values are based on. Without Jesus as the authority
that guides our behavior, all behavior becomes relative and arbitrary.
It then becomes easy to say, “That’s OK to do because
it’s not as bad as…” or “I’m OK because
I’m not as bad as……..." If you base your value
system around the virtues in scripture you will be working from an
absolute foundation that is not going to be arbitrarily changed or
watered down by an individual or a committee. Your main textbook should
be your Bible; this curriculum is meant only as a helpful supplement.
This Faith-Based Curriculum is designed to help the student (child,
youth or adult) internalize God’s virtues into their value system
not only in the mind, but in the heart. I don’t
believe that a person can be completely in line with God’s commandments
and the teachings of Jesus until you are:
- At peace with Jesus and the Gospel.
- At peace with your neighbors
- At peace with yourself.
This curriculum will help the student:
This curriculum does not have activities to keep a student “busy”.
Each activity has a definite purpose.
Objectives:
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, for man’s anger does not bring about the righteous life that God desires. James 1: 19-20
A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger. Proverbs 15: 1
He who answers before listening--that is his folly and his shame. Proverbs 18: 13
The mouth of the righteous brings forth wisdom, but a perverse tongue will be cut out. The lips of the righteous know what is fitting, but the mouth of the wicked only what is perverse. Proverbs 10: 31-32
“Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them.” Matthew 18: 19-20
Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and your plans will succeed. Proverbs 16:3
Even a child is known by his activities, by whether his conduct is pure and right. Proverbs 20: 11
Adults should use the process when they have a problem to act as role models for the young.
